Monday Morning Memo 4/25/22

Tim Yoder for working so hard to get all of his 15 day plans completed for all four of his preps! I know you put in a ton of time and effort into these outside of the school day.
and
To Andrea S, Fred M, Lisa S, Ryan H, Maddie H, Niccole C, Makaila H, Matt S, and Rachelle for all of your support and awesome conversation surrounding a new ELA curricular resource adoption last week...thank you for making it a great day! I know it was a long day, but we accomplished a lot. Your hard work is appreciated.
-From Stephanie Kaye

HUGE Thank you to Christine Spittler for being so flexible and extremely helpful with IAR testing. Pulling students and moving to another class to assist with proctoring testing! You were a huge help. Thank you!
and
Thank you to all the teachers involved with IAR testing. Those proctoring, pulling small groups, allowing us to use rooms last minute, helping other teachers, etc. I know it puts a dent in your teaching and schedules, but you all were rockstars and got it done. Thank you.
and
Thank you DON for coming in and tightening up some of my tables so promptly to keep the kiddos safe!
-From Victoria Miller

The third-grade team would like to give major Kudos to Huck and Amber for offering up 8-8:25 on Thursday to take out 3rd graders so we can have a plan time and prep any last-minute things for our field trip. We appreciate it so much! You both are the best and do so much for our kids!
-The third-grade team

Thank you to all who helped the fourth grade team on their field trip to Camp Duncan: Sue Pinkawa, who handled much of the paperwork; Georgette Franco and the Kitchen Team from Lotus, who tallied and created lunches; Sharon Preskill, who provided the first aid kits and medications; Andrea De Matteo and the bus drivers, who arranged transportation and drove; Gina Crosthwaite, who was the contact person with the camp and who sent texts to all of us rookies; Brandon Lang, who was the sub for a sub; Mollie Herchenbach and Ellie Seyfert, who accompanied the team; and Matt Peters, Natalie Udstuen and Paula Kvacik, who gave additional support.  The students had a wonderful time!!
The Fourth Grade Team

I want to add a kudos to Stanton track and field coaches in particular order- Oner Medrano, David Roat and Bryan Bailey- thanks for the teamwork and collaboration during track and field. I have really appreciated how well everyone works together to help the kids. It has been a great experience to learn the sport and the in and outs of meets. Thanks for all the hard work!
-From Dani Jones

iReady Tips & Data

It’s hard to believe that we’re already approaching the end of the school year! Here are some tips and tools to ensure we end the year strong with the final diagnostic of the year and monitoring personalized instruction.

·         Review the Checklist for Administering the Diagnostic to make sure you have everything you need for test day.

·         Use the Preparing Students for a Subsequent Diagnostic PowerPoint® to get students ready for the Diagnostic.

·         Have students complete Pledge Sheets and share them with a partner or the whole class so they commit to doing their best.

·         Actively Proctor during the Diagnostic to provide encouragement and support, particularly for students who may be rushing or spending too much time on specific items.
