Russ, thank you to helping a student transition into the classroom this week. Our students love feeling special and have such a unique bond with you.

Mike F, thank you for sharing a smile, hugs and excitement with a specific student in ECSE. Your connection with students makes such a tremendous impact of their self love and excitement to be at school.

Eddie, thank you for taking extra time to assure the ECSE classroom is a clean, sanitary and safe environment. Your attention to detail is greatly appreciated!

Don, thank you for coming to the rescue and fixing our class laminator so we could complete our Mother’s Day projects. I appreciate your quick action to help save the day!

Melanie and Colleen, thank you for figuring out how to safely transport student walkers in and out of the classroom while also pushing the classroom wagon. Your “MacGyver” skills are incredibly appreciated!

END OF THE YEAR

As we head into the end of the year, here are a few reminders...

EVERYONE--Since the End of the Year party will happen on 6/8 (more details to follow), you are welcome to leave in time to be there for the start of the party at 2:30.

The last day of school is a FULL WORK DAY, but an early release for students. Please use the time to complete all check out processes. If you are unable to check out on 6/8, please turn in your check out sheet when you are finished.

SUPPLY MONEY

The form to indicate how you'd like to get your supply money for next year is shared here. Please make your selection, and we'll take it from there!

Please note that you need to make your selection by MAY 26. If you do not select by then, we'll automatically set you up with online ordering using Amazon.

2023-24 Budget Requests--Sending in a separate email as well!

Here is a document to use if you have specific budget requests for the 2023-24 school year. This DOES NOT include your supply money--that's a whole different thing. If you have already submitted a request, you DO NOT NEED TO RESUBMIT. I'd appreciate receiving all requests by Friday, June 4. If you need more time, please let me know.

As always, we'll do our best to meet the students' needs in the most fiscally responsible ways.

Coursework Hours!!!

Here's a GREAT and inexpensive way to get additional coursework hours! Please remember that any and all coursework reimbursement requests or lane changes MUST be submitted by June 30!

Thanks to everyone for your feedback! Erica and Stephanie are sending out Lotus- and Stanton-specific supports, but I'll also post the link to a folder containing them all here so they are easy to find, everyone can see everything, and you're reminded to check them out!

Negotiation team will be ready at the end of the week! I know that many people have asked. Due to some unforeseen circumstances and schedule changes, the board will be meeting late this week to review our negotiation team applications and put together a well diversified team. Please remember that we are looking to build a team that is well rounded in position, years and buildings. We know you are all amazing and wish everyone could sit there with us.

KICK OFF TO SUMMER!!!!

Time: 1:00-3:00 pm

Cost: $8.00 for admission, includes skate rental
Extra $2.00 for blades.
*If you bring your own skates, you still need to pay $8 to skate.
*If you are NOT skating, you do NOT need to pay admission.
*Parental/Guardian supervision is required!

**NOTE: STUDENTS FROM LOTUS CANNOT USE THEIR FREE PASS FOR THIS EVENT!!**

**Our goal is to get 100+ participants in order to get 50% of proceeds back to the PTA!!**
There will be a $3.00 meal deal, 1 slice of pizza, and a small drink! For every meal, $0.50 goes back to the PTA.
