Business Office Updates
Entering Absences:
PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE put absences into Frontline as soon as you know you must be
out. This allows subs to have maximum time to get calls or search out opportunities--many
of our subs have opted to NOT get calls from us and pick their own jobs. Additionally, to be
respectful to subs that DO take calls, the system does not call after 9PM or before 5AM.
The later an absence is entered, the less likely it is that it will get filled.
Also--in the month of February alone, we had 192 absences with a 59% overall fill rate.
It is ESSENTIAL that absences are taken only when needed and with as much advance
notice as possible.
Please see Heather or Maddie with any questions.

Time Clocking Pilot:
Our time clock pilot is working smoothly! Thanks to this group for being our testers and lead
clockers. We’ll launch this system wide starting March 18.

Purchasing:
Any and all purchasing for 2018-19 must be completed by spring break. Right after break,
we’ll start building the budget for next year!

Curriculum Updates
Summer Curriculum Hours
Please know that summer curriculum work will be prioritized for work on fence
posts/rails/pacing/assessments. I’m happy to pay teams to get ahead on this for next year,
but--with limited funds--requests for this work will be the priority!
