Thanksgiving Version---Monday Morning Memo---GET YOUR GRATITUDE ON!

 

 

We'll get back to business in the next Monday Memo...this one is just for fun, gratitude, and Thanksgiving!

Try this fun turkey game at Thanksgiving!

Thank you to Penny, Yesenia, and Hilda for all your hard work while I was out. I was able to be away knowing that the kitchen was in such great hands! You girls are amazing!

Thank you Leah Falster for problem solving on a student and finding the best place for that student during Flex. Thank you for all you do for the students in 6th grade.

Thank you Karen Skorup for all you do for students, especially the student we share a caseload with. I appreciate you.

Thank you Meghan Reimers for all your support and dedication to students. You make a huge difference everyday. 

Thank you Dayja Wydzierzecki for always collaborating with me and welcoming in your classroom. Also thank you for recognizing students with me at the BOE meeting this week, it was awesome.

Thank you Katy Gardner for showing me how fun and amazing math can be. You are an amazing teacher and I have learned so much from you. Thank you for welcoming me in your room this year.

Stephanie Silverman, your constant support this year has meant so much to me! I’m so grateful for the opportunity to collaborate with you and work alongside so many students—especially our youngest learners in Pre-K. Here’s to a fantastic year of teamwork and growth!

Your support and encouragement in helping them develop these essential skills mean the world to me. Natalie and Allie, Thank you for arranging for me to have my SPED work day. I am so appreciative of your compassion, professionalism and your consideration for the time frame in which work had to be completed. I made an error on my end, and you both uplifted me to remind me to have grace in a tricky situation. Thank you both for being incredibly supportive and kind. 

Adisyn, thank you for subbing for me while I was away from my class. I greatly appreciate how you check in and want to genuinely know an update about each student before you even step foot in our class. You have a tremendous heart! Thank you for all you do!

Kim R, Thank you for offering my your office so that I could get work done in a distraction free zone. I appreciate your generous heart! 

Don and Russ, thank you for being so quick with repairs to the ECSE classroom. They may take a few moments for you to adjust or fix, but they are HUGE wins for our little learners. Your quick action and compassion are much appreciated. 

Pre-K team, YOU ARE AMAZING! I appreciate your communication this past week during your audit. It takes a village, and there were so many outstanding people who stepped in to assist during the week. I am so proud of all of you, and the amazing collaboration that I witnessed. 

To my amazing paras, Lumi, Mary, Mandi and Monica. I LOVE how YOU love our little ones. You take pride in all you do, and our students are learning to become independent in the classroom. Thank you all for being truly invested in what you do every day. You ask the best questions in order to provide outstanding care. You are all so appreciated each and every day. 

Mary Fisher and Monica, Thank you SO MUCH for making sure I had safe transportation for the past 2 weeks to get to and from work. I am beyond thankful for your kindness and compassion. I already miss singing along in the car and having one on one conversations to and from work...but i'm happy my car has heat now!  Thank you again for offering to help me in my time of need. 

Mandi, thank you for very kindly assisting to go anywhere needed at any given time. You have an incredibly generous heart, and are always willing to lend a hand to others. Thank you for being an amazing part of the Lotus family. 

Cafeteria Staff at Lotus, thank you for an amazing meal on Thursday! You always know how to put such amazing detail into your preparations. Your time, thoughtfulness and careful consideration of allergies is admirable. Thank you for all you do to make sure all staff members can eat in a safe, allergy friendly environment. 

Amber and Stephanie S. Thank you both so much for bringing adaptive PE to the ECSE classroom. Your knowledge of kinesthetic skills paired with adaptive knowledge for our kiddos is awe inspiring. I am so happy that we can partner to make this a reality for the ECSE students. Thank you for all you do. We appreciate you!

Chris Brown, I do not get to spend time with you often, however, the times we have together always bring joy to my heart. You have a beautiful way of sharing your sunshine with others, and I am grateful you were so kind to share the copier with me when I was in a hurry. Thank you for being so patient and kind.
