Huge Congratulations to Jill Becmer for bringing the DAY OF SERVICE to District 114 and implementing it
year after year! I blasted out just one of the MANY heartwarming moments I experienced Friday. The PRACTICE of SERVICE is essential for kids. It changes them to practice giving, and then receiving the benefits. Kudos for us for giving our kids the opportunity!

I was in the ILPA at Stanton on Monday. Jillian asked a student to “get started on his work” to which the student replied “But, but, it’s Monday!”
FELT. THAT.
Any guesses which 5th grader could’ve said this? Lol He’s one of the best
